Human Trafficking  Memorial

Site:  Tenancingo, Mexico

Date: 2017.05

Collaborator: Nan Lei

This is a piece of mega-installation for anti-trafficking, as well as an open space for the local residents.

The 2.4m x 2.4m grid system represents the collection of different girls’ rooms where they come from or where they used to live. It might be a lovely home or a horrible cage.

Each room has a bed with no one. However, when visitors walk through the structure, staring at those voids, they will be able to hear thousands of voices from the women who are suffering the trafficking, as well as read their miserable stories.

We believe, being kind is the nature of human beings. In here, every soul will be educated and having its redemption.
